Leigh is a 2024 Fellow of the International Specialised Skills Institute, researching the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to support teaching practices and curriculum design in adult and vocational education.
He works full-time as Curriculum & Assessment Leader at William Angliss Institute and was previously a Curriculum Designer at Melbourne Polytechnic. He teaches TESOL part-time at Bendigo Kangan Institute and serves as board secretary of Kew Neighbourhood Learning Centre.
Leigh learns about AI by trying lots of new AI tools, picking up tips and tricks from colleagues, students, and friends, engaging in professional gossip, doing formal study, and watching lots of YouTube tutorials!
